This proposal shows intent to help create a portion of the film series promoting faith community engagement related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, teaming the people and resources of Tampa Freelance Video and the International Dialogue Centre, KAICIID. It is our understanding Tampa Freelance Video would provide video production services in and around the Tampa Bay area, and KAICIID would collaborate and give direction during production and be responsible for post production.
Background. Tampa Freelance Video works with broadcast, corporate and NGO agencies since 1999. Assignments have covered Southeast Asia, South and Central America, as well as our own neighborhood. The work showcased in the demonstration video reflects our ongoing commitment to help people and organizations dedicated to fostering diversity and understanding in all communities.
Methodology. Before the project begins, we seek to understand your goals. What is an identifiable problem the video or series can help solve? And, how can we help build a solution? You likely know what has worked and how you’d like to achieve success. We aim to provide professional assistance in achieving your goals.
Getting it done. We are projecting three days of production with the KAICIID producer. It is desirable to have a pre-production meeting and location scout with the interview subject at their location. Production will consist of two cameras, shooting at least 1080HD in either NTSC or PAL format. We will provide all materials to the KAICIID producer on your provided hard drive at the conclusion of production. We will also create duplicate backup files that will be stored for at least 30 days.
Tampa Freelance Video and all personnel are considered “work for hire.” Upon full payment and consideration for performance, KAICIID will have full rights to any and all materials created during production.
DP. Colin Kelly is the principal behind Tampa Freelance Video. Colin works on various projects with a wide range of clients, currently focusing on corporate marketing efforts and documentary work. His work has been included in national documentaries aired on CNN, “The Hunting Ground” and “Her Name was Steven.”
Videographer. Phil Celli and Colin Kelly work in tandem on numerous non-profit video projects. Phil has been instrumental in local fundraising, such as producing and shooting the past five years with the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay. Phil and Colin are videographers in the Tampa Bay area for more than thirty years.
Audio tech. Joe Giannotti is a fully-equipped sound recordist, traveling locally and to other continents prepared to create clean sound in challenging situations on a daily basis. He also created and maintains a local music streaming venue, Tampa Sessions.
Production assistant. We have a handful of freelance assistants we continue to use as needed. They have all been on multiple shoot scenarios and are ready to help and hustle.
